Moyo Vase

This fabulous sculptural vase by Danish Design house Nordal is handmade from stoneware, so each piece is unique.  A true work of art, the Moyo vase really is a design statement. Its alluring wonky nature is due to the heavy top part, which makes the vase tilt a bit in the drying process.  It has been finished with semi-gloss mottled texture.
 
There is a small hole in the base which is not a fault - it is made to provide air inside for drying the stoneware.  The bowl sitting on the top is sealed to the base so this is not a vase for long stems.
